Al Grover was well aware of that.  He later took a Verity hull and made molds from it.  Then mass produced the Verity Deign in well-built fiberglass.A brief side story:My first experience with the Al Grover Skiff was at the new York Boat Show. In the Mid 1980s.   Al Grover had the Verity Skiff he used for the hull molds right next to the the new Grover Skiff.  The Grover skiff was a meeting of old meets new. On that day may dad's history was shaking.  I heard about it in the 2 hour drive home.   "If God wanted fiber glass boats he would have had made fiberglass trees".  He put a dislike of Mr. Grover in my head.  Luckly, Fred Scopinich put all things into prospective.  A man my father made out as evils, was a man of the old era and embracing the new era.  Al Grove kept the Verity hull design alive.
